| All of our clocks are
made of real wood and not particleboard or pressed paper.
Our cherry finish clocks are made of real linden wood and
our oak finish clocks are made of catalpa. They are
absolutely "beautiful,"
made of real, solid wood, carefully crafted to a fine
finish to meet our specifications and come finely
finished. They are "great"
quality clocks, some of the highest quality clocks you
will ever find! Our prices are fantastic, making them a
"superior"
value! Grandfather clocks make excellent gifts for
weddings, anniversaries and graduations. Our clocks have dependable 31-day key-wind movements, chiming on every hour and onc on the half-hour. This means it will strike five times at 5 o'clock, six times at 6 o'clock, etc. and once at the half-hour.. You wind them once per month. They are totally mechanical and are NOT battery operated. The movement is driven by the springs you wind instead of by the weights. The chimes are created by two hammers hitting two chime pin rods. Our grandfather clocks are real pendulum clocks. If you stop the pendulum from swinging, then the clock stops. It is hard to beat these dependable movements.
There is some assembly required, but it won't take long and is truly simple. The only tool you will need is a Phillips screwdriver that will be used to insert 8 machine screws. All Grandfather Clocks comes with excellent, detailed instructions. It should not take you more than 20 - 30 minutes from start to finish. There is nothing technical about the assembly and/or setup.The technical/operational parts of our Grandfather Clocks are all preassembled and do not require any further attention. Our Grandfather Clocks are packed to ensure safe shipment. The very minor assembly needed also allows us to deliver your Grandfather Clock to you via UPS instead of a freight truck which would cost upwards of two hundred dollars for delivery. Your grandfather clock is brand new and comes with a one year warranty. If you have a problem with your clock, just contact us, and if it is defective, we will repair or replace it. In the very unlikely and
most unfortunate event that you receive your grandfather
clock and it has been damaged in transit, you should
contact us as soon as possible, and we will ask you some
questions to find out what part is damaged. We will
either send out a replacement part to you the next
business day or, if it is not repairable, we will have
your clock picked up and then send you a
replacement. Because they are packed so very well,
less than 2% of our clocks arrive with shipping
damage. This means that 98 out of 100 clocks arrive
in perfect condition. We take pride in providing quality service to our customers and want you to be fully satisfied. If you want to return the clock for any reason, we will refund purchase price (less shipping and handling) if notified by e-mail within 7 days of receipt. Clocks must be returned in original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. Products must be returned by UPS ground and insured for full value with return shipping paid by buyer. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from us before returning merchandise. We would also need to furnish you with the proper address to our warehouse. Once the merchandise has been received, a refund for the purchase price (less the original shipping and handling costs for shipment to buyer) will be sent to you via PayPal. |
